A Charlatan actualmente la consideraría como una banda de Metal Alternativo y Post Hardcore, lo cual en sí no me tentaría a escucharla. Pero tiene ese algo más que la hace particular, esa teatralidad en la música que siempre es bienvenida, como con My Chemical Romance o los 2 últimos álbumes de Ice Nine Kills, que no se limitan a tocar enfocados en sentimientos o ideas, sino que describen a su vez una situación y sumergen al oyente en un escenario. Este tipo de bandas que son tan particulares siempre llaman la atención y son difíciles de categorizar e incluso es injusto el limitarlas a etiquetas porque no reflejan lo que el oyente oirá cuando le dé a play (ya sé que es muy cliché el ‘no nos gusta encerrarnos en un género’, dicho por bandas que tocan la misma música genérica desde hace 20 años, pero bue). Sin más, les recomiendo escucharla, que puede que al final no les guste, pero es de fuera del montón y merece la pena darle su oportunidad.
