Petit Brabancon es un super grupo conformado por Kyo (cantante) (Dir En Grey, sukekiyo), Miya (guitarrista) (MUCC), yukihiro (batería) (L’Arc-en-Ciel, Acid Android, ex Zi:Kill), Hirofumi Takamatsu (bajista) (The Novembers) y Kiyomi ‘antz’ Watanabe (guitarrista) (Tokyo Shoegazer, ex Acid Android). Como todo en lo que está metido Kyo tiene su dosis experimental que no será para todos y que puede parecer algo desordenada en un principio pero cuando se le agarra gustillo es genial. Me sale instintivamente la comparación inevitable con Dir En Grey por la voz y los recursos vocales tan característicos de Kyo. Si bien ambas bandas suenan de a ratos muy parecidas, el estilo musical de Petit Brabancon tira más hacia el Rock pesado y no hacia un Metal rápido y potente con atmósfera pesada/agobiante. Petit Brabancon es más cercano al Dir En Grey de hace 15-20 años que al actual (o más bien a una mezcla de ambas etapas XD). Creo que (siendo bastante injustos) podríamos decir que Petit Brabancon es como Dir En Grey pero bajándole un cambio XD
Fuera de chistes, Petit Brabancon tiene su identidad propia, bien diferenciada de Dir En Grey, aunque difícil de separar por la presencia de la voz de Kyo.
