Pensé que ya había subido este disco y ya veo por qué no lo había hecho. Si bien la base es Nu Metal (y muy interesante de hecho), se combina con elementos de Black Metal, Grind, Chiptune y otros elementos poco frecuentemente relacionados al Nu, lo que hace que este álbum sea experimental de cojones. No sé si es muy virtuoso o simplemente una mezcla al azar de efectos e ideas a medio hacer XD
La ‘banda’ es uno de los varios proyectos en solitario de Garry Brents, también conocido por Memorrhage y Homeskin (entre otros). Si bien hay un delgado hilo conector que hace distinta a cada una de sus bandas y que justifica el tener tantos proyectos paralelos, no pareciera que haya mucha distancia musical entre ellos como irónicamente sí los puede haber entre 2 discos consecutivos de un mismo proyecto. Así que si quieren adentrarse en los discos anteriores de Gonemage quedan avisados de que pueden ser muy diferentes de lo que esperarían al escuchar ‘Spell Piercings’.
