Poco después de que en 2005 Swift sacara ‘The Absolute Uncontrollable‘, la banda entró en un aparente hiatus de al rededor de 10 años, durante el cual siguieron trabajando poco a poco en las bases de nuevo material. Éste álbum es el resultado de ese trabajo, el cual fue lanzado finalmente en 2017 en parte para dar a los fans de la banda un poco más de Swift y conmemorar de gran manera los 20 años de la banda.
