Embodyment (llamada Supplication hasta el ’94) fue formada originalmente en el año 1993 como una banda de Death Metal/Deathcore, periodo en el cual lanzaron su primer álbum y un álbum recopilatorio de canciones previas. Luego de la salida de la banda de su cantante y de su bajista original la banda tomó un rumbo un poquitin diferente (casi nada) yendo hacia el Rock Alternativo (como aquel que deja la vida de malandro para ser gerente en el negocio de su suegro 😛 ).
