«Vigilance» es el 5º trabajo de Lay It On The Line en tan solo 18 meses en actividad (1 demo, 3 EPs y un EP con la banda búlgara Arizona). Trata sobre George Hutchinson, un testigo tras presenciar la muerte de Mary Jane Kelly en Whitechapel (1888).
El EP fue grabado por Neil Kennedy (More Than Life, Landscapes, Departures) y es ciertamente, musicalmente hablando, el mejor trabajo de la banda hasta la fecha.
Lay It On The Line se formo 2012 en el sur de Londres y cuenta con ex- miembros de Phinius Gage y Hang The Bastard. Este es el debut de la banda bajo el sello discográfico británico de trayectoria «Lockjaw Records» (Wake The Dead, Trails, Antillectual, Drones).

Banda inglesa de Metalcore con elementos de muchos otros géneros, entre ellos el trance-metal y el screamo. Muy recomendable, de lo mejor que he podido escuchar en bastante tiempo.
