Este grupo combina sonidos de metal espeso, fornido ayudado de elementos electrónicos (producido por Ross Robinson) con toques melódicos; su descubrimiento fue en 2002, cuando fueron la primera banda de metal danesa en firmar con Nuclear Blast Records, seguidos luego por Mnemic), que hizo muy suya la novedad.

RAUNCHY es una banda que combina metal melódico con elementos del thrash metal, industrial metal, metalcore y melodeath (aka Futuristic Hybrid Metal). Esta banda danesa se formó en 1994 y, desde entonces, han editado tres trabajos.
«Confusion Bay» (2004) es el título de su segundo álbum. Fue grabado en los Hansen Studios durante los meses de julio y agosto de 2003, y fue producido por Jacob Hansen, dueño de éstos. El álbum recibió muy buenas críticas y es, para la inmensa mayoría, su mejor trabajo hasta la fecha.
Durante las sesiones de grabación, también tuvieron tiempo para versionear el clásico
«From Out Of Nowhere» (
