Tras el inesperado éxito de su álbum debut («Cold», 1998), Geffen Records les financió este segundo trabajo, que vio la luz el 12 de septiembre de 2000. Durante ese tiempo, y por motivos no del todo claros, Sean Lay (guitarra) dejó la banda; el guitarrista local Terry Balsamo pasó a ocupar su lugar.

Como el título podría sugerir, este combo grunge-metal es tan melancólico como visceral, en parte gracias al buen hacer de su líder y vocalista Scooter Ward y al trío de guitarras que conforman la banda. Si bien no hay ningún tema que podríamos tildar de hit, tiene las suficientes buenas melodías y matices («End Of The World» y «Just Got Wicked») para hacer que el tono general del álbum roce, incluso, el optimismo, si bien estos muchachos de Jacksonville (Florida) no son la alegría de la huerta, que digamos. Otros temas a destacar son «Send In The Clouds» y «Bleed», que cuentan con la colaboración del líder de STAIND, Aaron Lewis.

En definitiva, un álbum más que correcto, que cuenta con el visto bueno de Fred Durst, líder de LIMP BIZKIT y padrino de la banda.
