Aprovecho para publicar su segundo álbum lanzado el pasado 3 de mayo, buen disco al igual que el anterior es un álbum conceptual previo al disco se lanzo un libro llamado del mismo nombre donde Nikki relata sus experiencias vividas en su juventud y de la banda que lo lanzo a la fama «Motley Crue» también su experiencia cercana a la muerte por sobredosis, su regreso a la música y a las adicciones, excelente banda nueva y excelente propuesta alternativa sobre todo por la temática de las canciones.

Agrego al blog este proyecto alterno de Nikki sixx bajista de los geniales Motley crue, formados en el 2007 «Sixx Am» combinacion de los nombres de los miembros del grupo (Sixx , Ashba , Michael). El año de su formacion lanzan este su primer album «the heroin diaries soundtrack» es un album conceptual inspirado en el libro autobiografico de Nikki Sixx «The Heroin Diaries: A Year in the Life of a Shattered Rock Star».

Y por fin se filtró el disco debut de Stillwell, supergrupo que cuenta en su formación con Fieldy de Korn (extrañamente en la guitarra), Wuv de P.O.D. en la batería y al rapero Q Unique a cargo de las voces. Según ellos mismos, habían inventado un nuevo género llamado «street metal», combinando heavy metal tradicional con hip-hop de la costa oeste, pero a mediados de 2010 publicaron en YouTube un video en el que anunciaban un cambio en su estilo, ahora tocarían hard rock, noticia que a muchos nos disgustó… Pero no todo está perdido! en el disco incluyeron algunos temas de su estilo rap metal original.

Dream Circus started in 2009 as James and his brother William Powell (drums) recorded the first 2 song demo at JAP estudios in Lisbon, Portugal. Soon after they joined up with Sandro on Bass and started to build the band’s live set and subsequently performing all over the country… In April 2010 Ricardo joined the band on drums, and the band began working on their first collective recording, an EP titled «Fear»… may 2010 the band records at Ultrasound Studios in Braga, Portugal with producer Pedro Mendes (WAKO, A LAST DAY ON EARTH, ANGELUS APATRIDA, HEAVENWOOD) . Fred Rosa joined the band shortly after and the band signed with Casket-Copro Records with a release date for the Ep scheduled for early 2011. Now a tight unit, playing a no frills , heavy yet melodic rock Dream Circus will be touring extensively in support of the «Fear» Ep in Portugal , and the UK… See you on the road!
