Definitivamente este ha sido un buen año musicalmente hablando. Para los que escucharon «The Offering [EP]», ya sabían que esta banda era una de las buenas promesas para este año, y creo que se puede decir con toda seguridad que el grupo aprobó en su debut. Para los que no los conozcan, A Cry Farewell, se formó el 2009 en Cincinnati y este es su primer LP. Entre sus principales influencias podemos encontrar a Reveille, Nullset, Shuvel, P.O.D., Pillar y Deftones  (época Adrenaline). El grupo suena bien, las canciones son bastante movidas aunque también hay algunas mas «alternativas», ocupan la electrónica también pero sin llegar a abusar de ella. En lineas generales me parece un muy buen disco.

OVER-REACTOR es una banda oriunda de Melbourne, Australia, creada por dos muscicos, Ezekiel OX y Cory Bligth. Durante los años 2009 y 2010 los dos miembros trabajaron en dos demos los cuales serían las bases para su álbum «LOSE YOUR DELUSION». En los meses siguientes del 2010 la banda realizo varios conciertos, pero sin duda en el que más resaltaron fue en el teatro Tivoli en Sidney ante 10,000 fans.

El sonido de OVER-REACTOR se pude resumir a una mezcla de varios generos que van desde el Hip-Hop, pasando por el Nu-metal hasta el Hardcore y Punk. Cabe destacar que las presentaciones en vivo del duo son todo un espectaculo, su musica es acompañada por efectos visuales que hacen de sus shows algo único. Actualmente la banda trabaja en lo que sera su segundo álbum que llevara or nombre «MOUTH OF THE GETTO»
