El nombre de la banda viene por la canción de Tool «In The Meantime», que empieza con la frase «earth tone suits you».
earthtone9 estuvo activo desde 1998 hasta 2002 y ha sido comparado con Helmet, Tool, y Deftones. Combinan a la perfección susurros, gritos desgarrados y buenas melodías. Lo recomiendo.
