Splender fue una banda de rock alternativo de la ciudad de Nueva York. La banda estaba formada por el vocalista principal Waymon Boone, el bajista James Cruz, el baterista Marc Slutsky y el guitarrista principal Jonathan Svec. La banda generó dos álbumes, Halfway Down The Sky y To Whom It May Concern y canciones que incluyen «Yeah, Anyway» y «I Think God Can Explain», que luego se convirtieron en éxitos antes de que se disolvieran en 2004.
