Aquí les traigo un disco que tiene 20 años! Es el primer álbum de estudio de Primus. Por supuesto que el nu metal no existía en esta época, pero es notable como esta banda ya elaboraba arreglos y cortes que más adelante formarían parte del nu metal. Yo opino que esta es una de las grandes bandas que ha influenciado a los pioneros del nu metal… no por nada Korn los ha tenido como invitados en su festival Family Values Tour de 1999. Y otra cosa interesante es el parecido (el comienzo) que tiene el tema de este disco “Too Many Puppies” con el tema “Blind” de Korn. Curioso no? Evidentemente Primus ha sido de influencia para Korn.

Esta banda está liderada por el antiguo guitarrista de Rob Zombie,Mike Riggs,quien tocara en Hellbilly Deluxe y The Sinister Urge; y también estuvo por John Tempesta(aunque solo toco en este album) batería de White y Rob Zombie.

El origen de la banda viene dado por la rotura de Rob Zombie que se dedicó a hacer películas (The House Of 1000 Corpses,The Devil Rejects,Halloween Remake) y estos 2 músicos antes nombrados querían seguir haciendo el mismo estilo Industrial Metal que practicaban con Rob Zombie,y la verdad es que el disco es muy majo y para quienes les gustase el estilo de Rob (como a mí) de los discos Hellbilly Deluxe y The Sinister Urge;pues ya lo pueden ir bajando,porque suena a Industrial Metal `made by Rob´ pero con Mike Riggs de cantante y guitarra,y la verdad es que tiene una voz muy parecida a Mr Zombie.
